The object of Stratego is to make it across the board by capturing your opponent’s flag. You pretty much move your piece forward if an opposing player’s piece is in the adjacent square you want to go to you touch their piece, the opposing player reveals what piece it is and depending on the number or type of piece you either capture their piece or they capture your’s, or if you are unlucky enough you get taken out by a bomb piece.
There really isn’t a whole ton of skill that goes into this game, you pretty much move a game piece and try to make it through the opponent’s side to capture their flag. That is how simple it really is.
I’m pretty sure by now everyone knows this classic board game. I have been playing it for years. It was always one of the ones we would pull out of the game cupboard at either school or daycare, along with Battleship.
This is definitely one of those games that manages to bring out the nostalgia when I play it.

You’ve got your hands on an AMAZING lot of games and stuff… amazing.
Sounded a bit like chess at first, but then I saw the differences.
I have played more games than what I actually own.
It is kind of like chess, provided every piece only moved one square and there were two large squares to represent an obstacle to get around.
