Race For Your Life, Charlie Brown
Charlie Brown and the gang go to camp for the summer where they are subjected to a rigorous schedule that is run on military time, which is confusing to the gang. Everyone is separated into groups to participate in the camps yearly river race.
I know when it comes to anything Peanuts Charlie Brown is the one to never come out on top, but I do like seeing the bullies get their just desserts towards the end of the movie.
This was definitely another of my favorite Peanuts movies, although it is not as favored as the first movie and Bon Voyage. I still like the movie regardless. I cannot say I still enjoy watching “Race For Your Life” as I haven’t seen it in years for the fact that the movie is currently out of print.
I used to rent this movie or check it out at the library when they started getting movies quite a bit when I was kid. “Race For Your Life, Charlie Brown” is another Peanuts film that has not been released for DVD or streaming.
I would suggest this movie but cannot for the obvious reason that I stated.

Wow… I don’t think our library would have anything so cool!
Oh Michael, this reminds me that I searched & searched & searched for that old Peanuts book I had kept since about age 10 – I wanted to give it to you, I’d said some long time ago – do you remember? I’m so sorry Michael, I couldn’t find it.
Anyway…. this sounded a good one. Probably the first ever ‘Revenge of the Nerds’
No sweat.
Yeah, in a way it could be viewed that a few of the Peanuts movies could be the first “Revenge of the Nerds” to a degree.
Well Heretic….after reading this I now want to watch it again! Haven’t seen it in years either (obviously).
It has been a while since I have seen it as well, and for how out of print it is it might another long while.
I was excited to find “A Charlie Brown Christmas” on line (Netflix??? I can’t remember) for the kids to watch this year. Maybe one day the others will come back to us!
It would be nice to see them again.
We should have a cyber Charlie Brown party if they ever come back.
That would be cool.
Consider it on my schedule!!! (But, warning, I will forget so don’t forget to remind me. Kind of like the dentist calling me to remind me of the appointment I remember every single day for 6 months then forget the week before.
