Happy Holidays

A bit of an update and some well-wishing. 

First the update:

With all of the things that are going on around me I have made the decision to step away from my blog for a while. This doesn’t mean I will close it or any of my other blogs down or will completely stop. It is just for the time being to get over a few of the things that have been stressing me out to. One of which is related to worrying about making sure I have everything ready and taken care of by the time I start school. 

Another thing that I have been doing is helping my mom and sis with starting a business they want to get off of the ground. This was something I was kind of banking on for doing some holiday shopping for my family as well as some friends, take care of some other school related things, but I have yet to be paid (which is not on my mom or my sister’s part). So right now I am angry, frustrated, and it is not really helping with trying to keep everything in a positive frame of mind. I have decided instead of flying off of the handle, self-destructing, or post or podcast some really heated and loaded things that would still leave me in the frame of mind that I am in. 

There is another thing that has been frustrating me but I really do not want to get into that.

So just to go over before I go on, making sure no one is confused.

Am I shutting down any of my blogs or my podcast?

Fuck no! I am just taking a step away to clear my head and allow myself the ability to blow off some steam without pissing on or pissing off those who do not deserve to be treated that way.

Will this mean that I will stop being The Heretic (or one of my other friends in my head)?

Umm…no! I am who I am. I will not change for anyone. This also doesn’t mean I will not read anyone else’s blog or not responding to anyone who leaves a comment. 

Now that I have gotten the bummer portion of this post out of the way..

With the holidays pretty much right around the corner I wish everyone as much positivity and enjoyment of their holidays and time off if they manage to get the time off to enjoy some good company with friends and family.

I have been watching and reading a few things that I will eventually turn into posts when I get back into the swing of things and everything cools down. When that will be? I cannot say.

For those of you Doctor Who fans out there I have been trying my damnedest to at least catch up on the David Tennant and Matt Smith incarnations of The Doctor, which BBC America hasn’t been making it too easy for me on the Matt Smith version. The David Tennant version I will have to wait until I can get the DVD’s to finish. I think it is pretty cool that they will be airing a holiday episode here in the States as well. 

As for what I have seen of the Matt Smith version of Doctor Who so far I have been really digging it. You will have to give me some time to really digest it all in order to tell you what I dig about it all. Luckily I have had the chance to start from the beginning of his incarnation..or at least the beginning of the seventh season/series.

I have also been watching my favorite holiday films, television episodes, and music just to try to stay positive and in the spirit of the holidays. Usually the music is always something goofy and funny, or I’ll throw on the Chipmunks. I think the same goes for the movies as well.

So I hope you all have a good one with your respective families and friends, as I have said.
