A widower plans a family reunion on the third anniversary of his wife’s passing and faces the adversities of everyone’s feelings as they come together in an attempt to get everyone to put their differences and hostilities aside in the hopes of bringing everyone together.
This movie is a bit hard for me to summarize without completely giving away the plot and ruining the movie for anyone who might be interested in seeing it. I also chose to watch this film because it was actually listed under the comedy genre, but after viewing this movie all of the way through “Mr. Lee vs. Mr. Lee’ is anything but a comedy. The underlying reality of the film’s story is a lot grimmer as you make your way to the end, but I won’t describe that for the same reason I already mentioned.
My impression of this movie is quite favorable, although I think some people might not feel the same when they see it. It depends on how the film makes you feel after watching it. It definitely is very subtle in the delivery of the twist in the plot without actually losing the viewer. Again, that might just be how the film came off to me, so someone else’s impression might be complexly different.
I say see this film, but as I have said before this movie is not a comedy by any means of the word.

I love how honest your reviews are. You think it turns off the viewer at some point. But you like it! I reckon I would watch it, just because you liked it, Michael.
Hey, by the way – vodkawasmymuse you know is gone. Just thought I’d mention it as I see it on your blog roll. Thank you though
